📖 Quick Guide: Sex-Specific Atlas

• Overall Expression: Compare the expression profile of the species across both sexes: Male (M) and Female (F).
• Search & Filter: Use the search bar to find genes by ID, annotation, or specific sex. Use the dropdown menu to isolate sex-biased transcripts.
• Interactive Visualization: Click a row in the data table to instantly generate a Plotly graph. Hover over data points to see exact mean expression values and standard errors (SEM).
  • The transcript expressed in both male and female will be labeled as Universal.
  • The transcript expressed exclusively in 1 sex will be labeled as M or F.
• Functional Enrichment Analysis: View enrichment bar charts for sex-specific transcripts, proving that the filtered transcripts correspond to distinct sex-specific functions and biological pathways.
